The GUMMI Type A flexible coupling with CIN inverted hub connects two shafts while absorbing misalignment, vibration and torque peaks. Its inverted hub layout suits assemblies where a standard hub arrangement will not fit. Common uses include pumps, fans, conveyors and general machinery.

Selection depends on nominal and starting torque, rotation speed, shaft diameters and the type of load. Choose the inverted hub configuration when axial or radial space is limited. Before assembly, check shaft alignment: even though the coupling absorbs misalignment, poor alignment speeds up wear of the elastic element.
