SE split pillow block housings

An SE split pillow block housing comes in two halves and carries bearings on power transmission shafts. Because it splits, you can take out or replace the bearing without pulling the shaft or the drive, which matters on hard-to-reach equipment where downtime windows are short. Choose it by shaft diameter, bearing size and the load and speed it will see.

In SKF part numbers such as SE 207, SE 209, SE 210 or SE 212, SE names the series and the number gives the housing size and the bearing it takes, not the shaft diameter. Where two numbers appear, as in SE 208-307, both refer to bearing sizes with the same outside diameter that fit that housing. Any suffix after that marks a variant, so order with the full part number.

End covers and locating rings are added to match the sealing and axial location the arrangement calls for.
