The GUMMI A-45 CI is a flexible coupling used to link two shafts while taking up misalignment, vibration and torque peaks. Its integral hub design, identified by the CI suffix, suits larger shafts and accepts a bore of up to 60 mm. Pumps, fans, conveyors and machine tools are common places to find it, wherever transmission needs to run smoothly and reliably.

Inside the GUMMI Type A range, the A-45 CI is the variant built with an integral hub. In this construction the flexible element and the hubs come as one piece, so there is no separate assembly step at the coupling itself. Shafts up to 60 mm in diameter fit the bore. Reading the code this way helps: A-45 sets the size within the series, and CI tells you which hub style you are holding.

Centrifugal pumps, industrial fans, belt conveyors, mixers and machine tools are typical installations. In each of them the coupling takes up small angular and radial offset between shafts, eases torsional vibration and shields bearings and gears from shock loads.
