For drives where the pump has to come out without disturbing the piping, the GUMMI A-45/50 ES 100 answers the need: a flexible coupling from the Type A line that links motor and machine shaft while taking up misalignment and vibration. The ES build adds a spacer between the hubs, and in this reference that span measures 100 mm, so the rotating equipment can be pulled back and the shaft freed without shifting either machine.

Read the code first. A-45/50 identifies the model inside the GUMMI Type A family; ES tells you a spacer is part of the assembly; 100 is the flange-to-flange distance in millimeters. The spacer sits between the two flexible hubs, and once it is taken out there is room to separate the shafts with no axial movement of the pump or the motor. Units ship as a complete assembly with flexible elements and mounting flanges.

Typical duty is back-pull-out centrifugal pumps, where the impeller and casing are drawn out to the rear and the installation stays as it is. Type A accepts limited angular and radial misalignment, but shafts must be lined up carefully before the flexible elements are tightened.
