This Gates B 33.5 belt is a classical V-belt in the Delta Classic series. Its profile and length are the two numbers that matter most when you are matching a belt to a drive: the B profile sets the cross-section, and the 850 mm length sets the fit around the pulleys.

The B profile gives this belt a 17 mm top width and an 11 mm height, with a 40° angle on the sides. That cross-section is what seats in a B-groove pulley. If your drive is cut for a B profile, the belt has to match that width and height so it rides at the right depth in the groove rather than sitting high or bottoming out.

The 850 mm length is the datum you compare against the old belt or the drive layout. A belt that is too long or too short will not hold the correct tension across the pulley set, even if the profile is right. Check the marking on the back of the old belt and measure the length before you order.
