The Dayco BP88 is a classical V-belt with a B profile and a length of 2311.4 mm. It measures 17 mm across the top, 11 mm in height and has a 40° angle. Use these figures to match it against the belt you are replacing.

Start by reading the marking on the back of the old belt. If it shows BP88, this is the direct match. If the marking is worn or missing, measure the outside length and compare it with 2311.4 mm, then check the cross-section: 17 mm top width and 11 mm height confirm the B profile.

The 40° angle is the included angle of the V-section, so it must match the sheave groove for the belt to seat correctly. A belt with the same length but a different profile will not sit at the right depth. Confirm profile, length and angle together before ordering.
