A hydraulic sleeve is a tapered sleeve with oil ducts and grooves that let you pump oil under pressure between the mating surfaces. That oil film cuts friction, so large tapered bore bearings can be mounted and removed without hammering, without heating and without damaging the shaft or seat. It is the standard approach for big bearings in mills, fans, pumps and heavy machinery.
Part numbers follow the pattern OH, then the size, then the letter H: BGL OH2332H and OH2334H, Timken OH2356H and OH3056H, or SKF OH 3040 H and OH 2344 H. Spacing varies by brand, but the system is the same. The digits combine the bearing's dimension series with a size code. That number is not the shaft diameter, so always check it against the bearing designation.
Choose the sleeve from the bearing it will carry: its designation, its tapered bore and the shaft diameter. Mounting calls for a hydraulic nut and an oil injection pump plus fittings, and you control the process by measuring the axial drive-up. These sleeves serve spherical roller bearings and other tapered bore bearings on drive shafts and process equipment.
Brands we carry for hydraulic sleeves: BGL, Timken and SKF. Send the sleeve part number, or the bearing designation and shaft diameter, and we'll identify the right part and its equivalents across brands. We also quote the hydraulic nuts and injection pumps that go with each sleeve. Reach us by WhatsApp or email for a prompt quote.
Dimensions and tolerances: Message us the part number on WhatsApp and we'll verify its dimensions and version with the manufacturer's datasheet.
