The Stark B 57 is a classical V-belt with a B profile. It measures 17 mm across the top, 11 mm in height and has a 40 degree angle. This is the type of belt found on general industrial drives, where a wrapped classical section is the original fitment.

Confirming fit starts with the marking on the old belt. If it reads B 57, this belt matches that callout. Check the profile against the sheave groove as well: a B section sits in a groove sized for a 17 mm top width and 11 mm height, and the 40 degree angle is the standard V shape for this section. A belt that sits too high or bottoms out in the groove is the wrong section, regardless of what the back of the belt says.

Inspect the drive before ordering. Look for worn or polished sheave grooves, misalignment between pulleys, and any oil or heat exposure that would shorten belt life. On multi-belt drives, replace all belts in the set at the same time so the load stays shared evenly across the grooves. A single new belt matched to worn belts will carry more than its share and fail early.
