Description
SEALMASTER RCIA90MM-C belongs to insert bearing, part of our Bearings range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for RCIA90MM-C and any equivalents.
The SEALMASTER RCIA-M series is a spherical roller insert bearing with an extended inner ring, made to sit in split plummer block housings and split housing units. Because the design tolerates angular misalignment between the shaft and the housing, it suits long shafts, chain or belt drives and structures that flex. Typical users are material handling operations, process plants and general plant machinery where the insert has to come on and off the shaft as part of routine maintenance.
Read the code in three blocks. RCIA tells you this is the extended inner ring insert family, MM marks the metric construction variant, and the -C suffix at the end identifies the finish or sealing configuration. Every reference in the group works the same way: RCIA35MM-C, RCIA40MM-C and RCIA50MM-C differ only in the shaft diameter they fit. The same logic applies to RCIA60MM-C and RCIA70MM-C.
You will find these inserts on belt and chain conveyors, bucket elevators, mixers, mills, screens, and in food, cement, aggregate and effluent treatment plants, as well as on agricultural machinery and packaging lines. Shaft speeds there are usually moderate and the load has both radial and axial components. Mounting the insert inside a split plummer block housing makes changeouts on large equipment easier, since the whole drive assembly does not have to come apart.
Before ordering, confirm the shaft diameter and how the insert locks to the shaft, and inspect the housing and raceway. Use the lubricant specified for the operating temperature and the surrounding conditions; where dust, water or washdowns are present, give sealing priority. Set the housing in line with the shaft during installation and do not strike the insert, because misalignment beyond the design allowance will shorten service life.
Inserts in this series are often swapped between brands of mounted bearings, but that is not automatic. Shaft diameter, inner ring width, locking method and seal position all have to line up. Many housings accept inserts from more than one brand, so a replacement can often be settled on dimensions alone. When the original assembly is no longer offered, the options are an equivalent insert or replacing the complete housing.
Send the insert part number to MR Industrial Accessories by WhatsApp, along with a photo of the housing and the shaft size. From that we can quote the SEALMASTER insert or point you to a compatible alternative. Our own manufacturing covers split plummer block housings and custom parts, so if the application calls for something different, we will work through it with you.

Frequently asked questions
- What does the -C suffix mean in the RCIA-M series?
- It denotes the construction variant of the insert within the RCIA-M series. Compare the full part number and the dimensions of the insert you are replacing to confirm the right version.
- Can it be mounted in a split plummer block housing from another brand?
- Often it can, provided the shaft diameter, inner ring width and locking system match. Send the housing and insert dimensions by WhatsApp and we will identify the compatible option.
- How do I request a quote for an RCIA-M insert?
- Message us on WhatsApp with the insert part number, for example RCIA40MM-C, and the shaft size. We will quote it promptly and, when needed, suggest the equivalent for your equipment.
