Description
OPTIBELT SPB 3550 BP belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for SPB 3550 BP and any equivalents.
The Optibelt SPB 3550 BP is a narrow wedge V-belt from the Blue Power series. It has an SPB profile, a 3550 mm length, a 16.3 mm top width, a 13 mm height, and a 40-degree angle. Before fitting this belt, inspect the drive and sheaves.
Check sheave grooves for wear, corrosion, or embedded debris. Worn grooves can cause a new belt to slip or seat incorrectly. Confirm that the sheaves are aligned and that the correct SPB profile is used. The belt's 40-degree angle and 16.3 mm top width must match the groove geometry.
Measure the old belt's length and compare it with the 3550 mm length of the SPB 3550 BP. If the drive uses multiple belts, replace them as a set to maintain even load sharing. Verify that the sheave grooves are clean and free of oil or grease before installation.
