The Optibelt SPB 2500 BP2 is a narrow wedge V-belt from the Blue Power 2 series. It has an SPB profile, a 2500 mm length, a 16.3 mm top width, a 13 mm height and a 40-degree angle. Before fitting this belt, inspect the drive and sheaves to confirm they are in good condition.

A new belt on worn or misaligned sheaves will wear quickly and may not transmit the expected load. Check sheave grooves for wear, cracks, or embedded debris. Verify that the sheaves are aligned and that the grooves are free of rust or oil. Confirm that the sheave profile matches the SPB profile and that the groove width is within the sheave manufacturer's limits for a 16.3 mm top width belt.
