The Optibelt 5V KB 2240 RP is a banded V-belt from the KB Red Power 3 series, with a length of 5690 mm. Before fitting it, inspect the drive and sheaves to ensure the new belt runs correctly and lasts.
Check sheave grooves for wear, rust, or debris. Worn sheaves can damage the belt and reduce performance. Verify alignment and tension according to your drive requirements.
When replacing a banded V-belt, always replace all belts in the set at the same time. Mixing old and new belts can cause uneven load distribution and premature failure.
