The Optibelt 5V KB 2240 is a banded V-belt in the KB SK series, with a 5690 mm length. For maintenance and purchasing teams, the 5V profile and the 5690 mm length are the two numbers to match against the drive before ordering.
The 5V profile identifies the cross-section family, and 2240 is the part number designation. The length is listed as 5690 mm. When you read the marking on the old belt, confirm both the profile and the length so the replacement fits the same sheave grooves and maintains the same center distance.
Banded construction ties multiple V-belts together, which suits drives where single belts tend to whip, flip or run unevenly. The KB SK series from Optibelt is built for that kind of service. Inspect the sheaves for wear and alignment before installing a new banded belt, and replace the full banded set rather than mixing old and new belts on the same drive.
Send the part number 5V KB 2240 by WhatsApp or email to request a quote. If you are unsure whether this is the correct belt for your drive, include the belt marking, sheave dimensions and the application details with your request, and the team will help confirm the right belt.
