When you need to replace a timing belt, the first step is to read the marking on the back of the old belt. That string of characters identifies the profile, length, and width you need. This page covers the Optibelt 16 T5 / 2700 AFX from the Alpha Flex series.
The marking 16 T5 / 2700 AFX tells you this is a T5 profile timing belt with a 2700 mm length and a 5 mm pitch. The 16 indicates a 16 mm width. Optibelt supplies this belt in the Alpha Flex series. If your old belt shows these same figures, this is the correct replacement.
For a quote, send the complete marking from your old belt, including the part number 16 T5 / 2700 AFX. If the marking is worn or unreadable, measure the length and width and note the tooth profile. Our team can confirm the right belt or suggest an equivalent from what we carry.
