The Optibelt 16 T5 / 1100 AFX is an Alpha Flex timing belt with a T5 profile, a 1100 mm length and a 5 mm pitch. We carry this belt for maintenance, engineering and purchasing teams who need the exact part number. Before you fit it, inspect the drive and the sheaves.
A new belt will not correct a worn drive. Check the sheaves for tooth wear, damage or buildup in the grooves, and confirm they are aligned and secure. Look at the shaft bearings and the tensioner as well, since a bad bearing or a weak tensioner can shorten the life of any timing belt.
Confirm the marking on the back of the old belt matches the Optibelt 16 T5 / 1100 AFX, then compare the profile and length. This belt has a T5 profile, a 1100 mm length and a 5 mm pitch. If the drive shows wear or misalignment, correct it before fitting the replacement.
