Description
MOVENDIS P-5V560 belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for P-5V560 and any equivalents.
The Movendis P-5V560 is a narrow wedge V-belt in the 5V profile with a length of 1432 mm. Before you fit it, take a few minutes to inspect the drive and sheaves. A worn sheave or misaligned drive will shorten the life of any new belt, so correct any issues first.
Check the sheave grooves for wear, cracks, or embedded debris. A groove that has worn wider will let the belt sit too deep and slip under load. Also confirm that the sheaves are aligned and that the shafts do not have excessive end play. If you find worn sheaves or damaged bearings, address those before installing the P-5V560.
When you replace a belt, look at the full set. If the drive uses multiple belts, install new belts as a matched set so the load is shared evenly. Mixing a new belt with old ones can cause the new belt to carry more than its share and fail early. The P-5V560 is a narrow wedge V-belt in the 5V profile with a length of 1432 mm.
