Description

The Movendis P-5V1060 is a narrow wedge V-belt in the 5V profile with a length of 2692 mm. It is built for drives where a compact, high-capacity wedge cross-section is specified. Before fitting it, take a few minutes to inspect the drive and sheaves.
A new belt will not correct a worn drive. With the old belt off, check the sheave grooves for wear, rust, burrs and embedded debris, and confirm the grooves are not bottomed out or stepped. Look at the sheave alignment and the condition of the bearings and bushings. A groove that has worn wide lets the belt sit low and slip, which shortens the life of the replacement.
Check the belt marking on the back of the old belt and match it to the 5V profile and 2692 mm length. If the drive runs more than one belt, replace the full set at the same time so the load stays shared evenly across the grooves.
To request a quote for the Movendis P-5V1060, send the part number by WhatsApp or email. If the marking is worn or unreadable, send the drive details and we can help confirm the right belt.
