This is a Gates D 225 PowerBand belt from the Hi-Power PowerBand series. It is a banded V-belt with a length of 5715 mm. Banded construction ties multiple V-belts together so they run as a single unit on drives that use several belts side by side.

Banded V-belts are used where a single belt would not carry the load or where matched sets are needed to keep pulleys aligned. The band keeps the belts from whipping, flipping or jumping off the sheave, which is common on high-vibration or pulsating drives. Typical settings include large fans, blowers, compressors, crushers, mills and other heavy industrial equipment that run several D-section belts in parallel.

To confirm fit, check the belt marking on the back of the old belt. The D 225 identifies the cross-section and the length in the Gates numbering, and the 5715 mm length is the datum length you should match.
