Description
GATES D 173 PowerBand belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for D 173 PowerBand and any equivalents.
The Gates D 173 PowerBand is a banded V-belt in the Hi-Power PowerBand series, with a length of 4394 mm. Before you install it, inspect the drive and sheaves so the new belt runs true and wears evenly.
Check sheave grooves for wear, rust, or debris, and confirm they are aligned. Misaligned or worn sheaves can damage a new banded V-belt quickly, even if the belt itself is correct. Verify that the sheave diameters and groove profile match the belt you are replacing.
Measure the old belt and compare it to the 4394 mm length. Confirm the belt marking on the back matches the part number you need. If the old belt is stretched, cracked, or has missing ribs, replace it before it fails.
When you are ready to order, send the part number D 173 PowerBand and the quantity you need. Our team will confirm the belt or suggest an equivalent based on the data you provide.
