Description
GATES AX 27 belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for AX 27 and any equivalents.
The Gates Tri-Power AX 27 is a cogged classical V-belt with an AX profile and a 737 mm length. It is the belt to reach for when you are replacing a worn AX-section drive belt and want to match the one coming off the machine.
To match it to the belt being replaced, read the marking on the back of the old belt. You are looking for the AX profile and the length; the AX 27 carries 737 mm. If the old belt is too worn to read, measure the outside length and confirm the section against the pulley groove before ordering.
The same size is also listed under Optibelt AX 27 and Dayco AX 27. Send us the part number from the old belt, or the profile and length you measured, and we will confirm the Gates Tri-Power AX 27 or suggest an equivalent.
This is a cogged classical V-belt, so it fits drives that take an AX-section belt. Check the pulleys for wear and alignment while the belt is off, and replace belts in sets where the drive runs more than one.
