The Gates 5VX 850 PowerBand is a banded V-belt from the Quad-Power 4 PowerBand series, built as a single unit with a 2160 mm length. Before you install it, inspect the drive and sheaves so the new belt seats and runs as intended.
Check each sheave groove for wear, rust, burrs or debris that can cut into a belt. Confirm the grooves are clean and the sheave alignment is correct. A worn or misaligned sheave will shorten belt life even when the replacement is the right size.
Measure the existing belt and compare the marking on its back with the part number you need. The 5VX 850 PowerBand is a banded V-belt, and its 2160 mm length is the reference for matching the drive. If the old belt is stretched, damaged or unreadable, send the drive details and we will help confirm the correct belt.
Banded construction keeps the ribs together, so the belt runs as one piece across the sheaves. After fitting, check tension and recheck it after the drive has run. For a quote, send the part number 5VX 850 PowerBand by WhatsApp or email and our team will reply promptly.
