This Gates 5VX 670 PowerBand is a banded V-belt in the Quad-Power 4 PowerBand series. The 5VX profile and 1700 mm length are the key numbers to match when replacing a belt on a multi-groove drive. We supply it to maintenance, engineering and purchasing teams across the US, Canada, Mexico and South America.

The 5VX profile identifies a narrow wedge cross-section, and the 670 marking corresponds to a 1700 mm length. Because this is a banded belt, the ribs are tied together, which keeps the belt running as a single unit on drives that use multiple V-belt grooves. Check the marking on the back of your old belt against these values before you order.

To request a quote, send the part number 5VX 670 PowerBand by WhatsApp or email. If you are unsure whether this is the correct belt for your drive, include the old belt's marking, the number of grooves and the sheave diameters. Our team can confirm the right belt or suggest an equivalent.

When replacing banded belts, inspect all sheaves for wear and alignment, and replace the full set at the same time so the load is shared evenly. This belt is built for drives where a single V-belt would not stay in place or would flip.
