Replacing a banded V-belt starts with the marking on the belt itself. This page covers the Gates 5VP 1500 PowerBand, part of the Predator PowerBand series, with a length of 3810 mm. Match those two details to the belt you are removing before you order.

Read the back of the old belt first. The part number and the length are the two details that identify it, and both should carry over to the replacement. If the marking is worn or rubbed away, measure the belt and note the profile and the length so the comparison can be made against this listing.

This belt is a banded V-belt in the Predator PowerBand series, with a length of 3810 mm. Banded construction ties the ribs together so they run as one unit, which is the reason these belts are used where a set of single belts would tend to turn over or whip. Confirm the profile and the length before you commit.

If the number on your belt does not read exactly as 5VP 1500 PowerBand, send a photo of the marking and the measured length. We can check it against this belt and help confirm the right one.
