Description
GATES 2000-8MX belongs to timing belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for 2000-8MX and any equivalents.
This Gates PowerGrip GTX timing belt carries the part number 2000-8MX. It has an 8MX profile, a 2000 mm length, and an 8 mm pitch. Use these three values to match it against the belt you are replacing.
Start by reading the marking on the back of the old belt. Confirm the profile reads 8MX, the length reads 2000 mm, and the pitch reads 8 mm. If the marking is worn or missing, measure the length along the belt and check the tooth profile against the pulley grooves.
The 2000-8MX is a synchronous belt, so the teeth mesh with the pulley rather than relying on friction. A mismatch in profile, length, or pitch will prevent correct seating. Compare all three values before ordering, and replace the belt as part of a full drive inspection.
When you send your quote request by WhatsApp or email, include the part number 2000-8MX and the quantity you need. Our team can confirm the belt against your application or suggest an equivalent.
