Description
DODGE TB-SCEZ-104S-PSS belongs to pillow block bearing, part of our Bearing housings range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for TB-SCEZ-104S-PSS and any equivalents.
The DODGE SCEZ PSS pillow block is a mounted bearing unit that uses a ball insert to support rotating shafts in power transmission systems. You will find it on conveyors, fans, mixers and other general machinery where a sturdy, simple-to-install and easy-to-align solution is required. MR Industrial Accessories supplies this line and helps you select the right configuration for your application.
The series code breaks down into three parts: SCEZ denotes the pillow block family with insert bearing, PSS specifies the sealing and protection method, and the number in the middle — as in TB-SCEZ-104S-PSS — gives the insert size. Together, these letters and digits define the shaft diameter, the outside diameter and the overall width. Providing the complete code lets us identify the exact part you need.
These housings are common in belt and roller conveyors, centrifugal fans, mixers, mills, packaging lines and process equipment. The pillow block design allows mounting on metal structures or concrete bases with two bolts, which makes installation and replacement straightforward. They also suit food, chemical and aggregate plants where moisture and dust are present.
When selecting a housing, consider the shaft diameter, the radial and axial loads, and the operating environment. The PSS seal keeps contaminants out and lubricant in, so check whether it fits your washdown or fine-dust conditions. During installation, align the bases and tighten the bolts evenly to prevent distortion. Regular lubrication and checking the insert clearance will extend the life of the assembly.
Pillow blocks with insert bearings can be interchanged between brands when the key dimensions match: shaft diameter, hole spacing, height to center and locking method. For a quote, send the full code or the shaft and base dimensions. We will identify a compatible alternative from another brand or line that serves the same purpose.
To get started, send the code TB-SCEZ-104S-PSS or the SCEZ PSS series code you require via WhatsApp or email. At MR Industrial Accessories, we respond promptly and help you define the best option for your equipment. We can also assist with split plummer block housings, pulleys and chains if you are building a complete drive.

Frequently asked questions
- What does PSS indicate in the DODGE SCEZ housing?
- PSS refers to the sealing and protection type of the insert bearing. It is designed for dusty, moist or washdown environments because it helps retain lubricant and blocks contaminants. Confirm it matches your equipment conditions.
- How do I select the correct pillow block for my shaft?
- You need the shaft diameter, the radial and axial loads, and the available mounting space. With those details we can determine the insert size and base configuration. If you have the old housing code, send it and we will quote it directly.
- Can I replace a housing from another brand with this DODGE one?
- Yes, as long as the main dimensions align: shaft diameter, distance between mounting holes, height to center and sealing type. Send us the dimensions or the original code and we will find the best matching equivalent.
