Part DBH 9665Pol is a radial lip seal built for a rotating shaft. It seats in a 74 mm bore, runs on a 38 mm shaft and measures 9.00 mm in height. Its job is to hold lubricant where it belongs and keep contaminants out, which protects bearings and bushings from premature wear. You will find it in gearboxes, pumps, motors and other power transmission assemblies with rotating shafts.

The A 274-R design uses a single lip with a spring that keeps steady contact against the shaft. If the shaft is already worn, a repair sleeve is worth considering.
