A compact radial shaft seal, the DBH 8726 is built for shafts that leave very little room around the sealing point. It carries an Lz lip-and-spring configuration and closes the gap between a rotating shaft and its housing, holding lubricant in and keeping dust, moisture and particles out. You will find it in small drives, instruments and precision assemblies where a slim seal profile is the only thing that fits.

The designation 8726 belongs to the DBH radial seal line. Its three controlling dimensions are a shaft diameter (d) of 8 mm, a housing bore (D) of 14 mm and a height (h) of 3.00 mm. Because the cross-section is only 3 mm, the seal sits in places where a thicker unit would not go. The Lz design means a sealing lip combined with a spring, the usual arrangement for a rotating shaft.
