A radial shaft seal of the DBH 8025Sil type keeps lubricant where it belongs and keeps contaminants out. Because it carries both a sealing lip and a dust lip, this Lz-R version suits equipment that runs continuously and sees a fair amount of dirt. Gearboxes, pumps, motors and transmissions are the usual homes for it.

The Lz-R build puts a primary lip and an exclusion lip together on one outer metal ring.
