The DBH 1016 is a radial shaft seal that keeps lubricant in and contaminants out of rotating equipment. Its Mz configuration combines a sealing lip with a metal case, and it mounts into the housing while the lip rides against the shaft. Shaft 25.40 mm, housing 50.80 mm, height 9.52 mm. You will find it in pumps, motors, gear reducers and gearboxes, among other machinery.

Reading the code is straightforward. DBH identifies the seal family, and 1016 is the size reference you can cross in interchange tables. The Mz design means a metal outer body with a flexible sealing lip, a common choice where oil or grease must be retained around a rotating shaft.
