The Dayco CP81 is a classical V-belt in the C profile, with a length of 2159 mm, a top width of 22 mm, a height of 14 mm and a 40° angle. It is part of the Dayco classical wrapped industrial belt line. Before fitting this belt, inspect the drive and sheaves so the new belt runs true.

Worn sheave grooves, misalignment or a damaged pulley will shorten the life of any replacement belt, including this one. Check the sheaves for wear, cracks and buildup, confirm the grooves match the C profile, and verify that the shafts are aligned. Correct any problem before the Dayco CP81 goes on, then recheck tension after the drive has run.

The marking on the back of the old belt is the fastest way to confirm what you need. Match the profile and the 2159 mm length to the Dayco CP81. If the drive runs more than one belt, replace the full set so the load is shared evenly and the sheaves wear uniformly.
