A Poly-V belt has V-shaped ribs running lengthwise on a flexible body, so it bends like a flat belt and grips like a V-belt. It delivers power in a compact space, at high speed and quietly, and you will see it on pumps, fans, compressors and machine tools. Selection is by profile, number of ribs and length, which you get from the pulley and the center distance.

All three appear in the designation. In SKF's PHG 10PJ1194, 10 is the rib count, PJ is the profile and 1194 is the length in millimeters; PHG 10PJ1321 and PHG 10PJ2083 follow the same pattern. PJ ribs have a 2.34 mm pitch, so a PJ belt does not interchange with PK or PL profiles, even when they look alike at first glance.

Use them on drives that call for a steady ratio and low noise: centrifugal pumps, induced draft fans, screw compressors, machine tools and air conditioning equipment. To identify a worn belt, count its ribs, measure the pitch between them and note the length.

We carry SKF in this line. Send the full part number via WhatsApp or email or, if you do not have it, the profile, rib count and length. With that information we will confirm the correct belt and send you a quote promptly.

Dimensions and tolerances: Message us the part number on WhatsApp and we'll verify its dimensions and version with the manufacturer's datasheet.
