Centralized lubrication systems

A centralized lubrication system feeds lubricant from one location to every lube point on the machine through a pump, a network of lines and metering devices. Rather than counting on manual greasing point by point, it applies the right amount on a set, consistent schedule, using less grease, avoiding over-greasing and reducing the risk of failures caused by missed lubrication.

Each part number in this line is a specific system component: pumps, metering devices, fittings, hoses, kits and spare parts. SKF part numbers start with the LL/ prefix followed by the item number, for example LL/10181, LL/10540 or LL/105-35251-3. Order them complete, with every hyphen and digit.

Sizing a system starts with how many points you need to lubricate, the distance from the pump to the farthest point, the lubricant (grease or oil) and its viscosity, the ambient temperature and the metering method: progressive, single-line or dual-line. These systems serve machine tools, presses, belt conveyors, mills, cranes, mining equipment and production lines.
