DBH Seals

A radial shaft seal, often called an oil seal, serves two purposes at once: it holds lubricant inside the bearing housing and blocks contaminants such as dust, water and dirt from reaching the bearing. Compared with the components it protects, the seal is a low-cost item, yet a worn or incorrectly specified seal is a frequent reason bearings fail early.

The DBH Pol line covers radial shaft seals, also called lip seals, built for rotating shafts. Their job is twofold: hold lubricant within the assembly and keep dust, water and other particles out. All references in this group share the Pol suffix and a four-digit number, from 1001Pol through codes such as 6558Pol and 9902Pol. Because every number corresponds to a distinct size and configuration, the full code is what identifies the part.
