Steel balls are precision rolling elements for bearings, check valves, dispensers, slides and positioning mechanisms that need smooth, low-friction motion. They are specified by diameter and precision grade: the tighter the tolerance on diameter and sphericity, the quieter and more uniform the rotation.

An SKF part number carries the diameter and the grade. In RB-12.7/G20W, RB stands for ball, 12.7 is the diameter in millimeters and G20W contains precision grade G20; a lower grade number means a tighter tolerance. Some sizes are whole metric diameters, such as RB-10/G20W or RB-11/G20W, and others come from inch fractions, such as RB-10.319/G20W (13/32 in.) or RB-11.112/G20W (7/16 in.). RB-1.5/G20W is a 1.5 mm ball.

Uses include building and repairing bearings, valves, dispensers and gauging devices, and mechanisms that need repeatable motion. When replacing a ball, measure its nominal diameter with a micrometer and decide whether the mechanism calls for a finer grade.

We carry SKF in this line. Send the ball part number, or the diameter, precision grade and quantity you need, by WhatsApp or email, and we will quote promptly.

Dimensions and tolerances: Message us the part number on WhatsApp and we'll verify its dimensions and version with the manufacturer's datasheet.
