The Stark Z 38 is a classical V-belt with a Z profile. Before you fit a replacement, take a few minutes to inspect the drive and the sheaves.
Check each sheave groove for wear, rust, burrs and buildup. A worn or damaged groove lets the belt sit incorrectly and shortens belt life. Confirm the sheaves are aligned and that the belt runs straight in the grooves.
