Description

SEALMASTER RFP-115 belongs to piloted flange bearing, part of our Bearing housings range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for RFP-115 and any equivalents.

The SEALMASTER RFP is a piloted flange bracket: an insert bearing carried in a round flange whose pilot shoulder seats into the machine housing. It holds the shaft square to the mounting face and keeps the unit centered, which suits front-mounted positions that have to come apart quickly during service.

The code identifies both the family and the size. RFP is the piloted flange bracket; the digits that follow point to a particular insert bearing size, so RFP-103, RFP-104, RFP-106, RFP-107, RFP-108, RFP-110 and RFP-112 each cover a different shaft capacity. Bore, flange diameter and hole spacing change from one number to the next. Quoting with the full part number avoids sending the wrong unit.

Typical installations include conveyors, mixers, pumps, fans and process lines in which the shaft runs perpendicular to the mounting surface. Food, chemical, cement and aggregate plants use them for that reason. Because the pilot centers the bracket, a replacement can go in without reworking the housing, which shortens the time a line stays down.

When selecting a unit, start with the shaft diameter, then look at the load (radial, axial or a combination) and at the surrounding conditions. The housing bore must be machined to match the pilot so it seats without play. Sealing also matters: standard versions generally carry single-lip seals, and dusty, wet or frequently washed areas call for extra protection. Grease applied at the factory can be renewed at intervals set by the duty cycle.

Piloted flange brackets from other manufacturers follow the same mounting idea, yet they do not always swap one for one. Pilot tolerances, hole positions and insert style differ between brands. Before substituting another make for a SEALMASTER RFP, line up the critical dimensions and check how the bearing locks onto the shaft. If you would rather not compare them yourself, we can point you to a compatible option.

Send the part number stamped on your RFP bracket, or the equipment model, through WhatsApp or email and our team will prepare the quote. Tell us if the machine needs special sealing or a different configuration and we will help you sort out the right version.

Frequently asked questions

What does the pilot on an RFP bracket do?
It is a circular shoulder that fits into the machined housing and centers the unit. That keeps alignment accurate and stops the bracket from moving, which is what you want on a front mounting where the shaft has to stay perpendicular to the face.
How do I match an RFP part number to my shaft?
You need the shaft diameter plus the housing dimensions. Each number in the series, from RFP-103 through RFP-112, corresponds to a different size. Send those measurements through WhatsApp or email and we will help you pin down the part number.
Can I regrease an RFP bracket once it is installed?
Yes. Most insert bearings take grease through a fitting, and how often depends on speed, load and the environment. Where dirt or moisture is present, it pays to inspect the lubricant and the seal at the same time.
