Part of the RUADIGON coupling line, the X-2 — also written X-25 — is supplied here as the normal hub with screws. This hub is the piece that fits onto the shaft and is locked in place with screws, so it works as one half of the coupling assembly rather than a complete unit. The flexible element and the opposite hub are separate items and are not part of this reference unless stated otherwise.

A hub like this carries torque from the shaft into the rest of the coupling, which makes it a frequent replacement item on motor-to-gearbox connections, centrifugal pumps, fans, belt conveyors and screw conveyors.
