When selecting a replacement, the profile and length are the first points to confirm. This belt is identified by the code GL-H8V-2540 and measures 6451.6 mm. The banded design ties several V-belts together, which helps keep them aligned and reduces the chance of individual belts flipping or jumping off the pulley.

Banded V-belts are commonly used on drives where vibration or pulsating loads can cause single belts to misalign. If you are matching an existing belt, check the marking on the back of the old belt and compare it to the code above. The length in millimeters should also be verified against your drive documentation.
