The PIX GL-H8V-1180 is a banded V-belt from the PIX-Gallant series. This page gives you the profile and length so you can confirm it against the belt you are replacing.
The code GL-H8V-1180 identifies a banded V-belt. The length is 2997.2 mm. For a maintenance or purchasing professional, those two facts are the starting point: the belt must match the drive's groove profile and the center distance the application requires. A banded V-belt ties multiple V-belts together into one unit, which keeps the belts from turning over or jumping out of the pulley grooves under shock loads.
When you read the marking on the back of an old belt, compare it to the PIX GL-H8V-1180. If the profile and length match, this is the belt to quote. If the marking is worn or unreadable, measure the length and note the profile from the pulley grooves. Send that information with the part number and our team will confirm the match or suggest an equivalent.
