This Optibelt SPA KB 3000 is a banded V-belt from the KB SK series, with a length of 3000 mm. Banded construction ties multiple V-belts together so they run as one unit on multi-groove drives. It is used where a single belt would whip, flip or run unevenly.
Banded V-belts are common on drives with several parallel grooves that must stay in step, such as large fans, pumps, compressors and process machinery. Because the ribs are joined by a top band, the belt keeps its position across the sheaves instead of rolling over. This suits drives that see pulsating loads or that cannot be stopped often for re-tensioning.
To confirm fit, read the marking on the back of the old belt and compare the profile and length with this SPA KB 3000. Check the sheave grooves for wear, alignment and debris, and confirm the number of ribs on the drive matches the belt. If the old marking is unreadable, send photos of the belt and the sheave arrangement.

Frequently asked questions
- What does the SPA profile mean on this belt?
- SPA is the profile, or cross-section, of the belt. The length is 3000 mm. Match both to the old belt to confirm fit.
- Can I replace one rib of a banded belt?
- No. A banded V-belt is made as one piece with the ribs joined by a top band. Replace the complete belt.
- What should I send to request a quote?
- Send the part number SPA KB 3000 and the quantity you need by WhatsApp or email. If you are unsure of the part number, send the marking from the old belt or photos of the drive.
