Description
OPTIBELT SPA KB 2240 belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for SPA KB 2240 and any equivalents.
The Optibelt SPA KB 2240 is a banded V-belt with a 2240 mm length. Before you fit it, inspect the drive and sheaves so the new belt runs true from the start. We carry this belt and quote by part number.
Check sheave grooves for wear, rust, or embedded debris. Worn grooves let the belt sit too deep, which leads to slip and heat. Misalignment between sheaves also shortens belt life. Correct both before fitting the belt.
Confirm the sheaves are clean and free of burrs, and that the drive turns freely by hand. If the old belt failed early, look for the cause: a seized bearing, an overloaded drive, or a damaged guard. Fix the root cause, not just the belt.
