The Optibelt PJ 1549 RB is a Poly-V (multi-rib) belt with a PJ profile and a length of 1549 mm. Before fitting this belt, inspect the drive and sheaves so the new belt runs true and wears evenly.
Check sheave grooves for wear, rust, burrs or embedded debris. Worn or damaged grooves can shorten belt life and cause noise or slip. Confirm alignment between sheaves and check that the belt tensioner moves freely through its full range.
Verify the old belt marking before ordering. The Optibelt PJ 1549 has a PJ profile and a length of 1549 mm, and the same size is also listed under Gates PJ 1549. Send the part number, profile and length by WhatsApp or email to request a quote.
When replacing a belt on a multi-rib drive, inspect all sheaves and the tensioner, and replace the belt if the ribs are cracked, glazed or missing. A clean, aligned drive helps the new belt seat correctly.
