When you need to replace a double-V (hex) belt, start by reading the marking on the old belt. The Optibelt HBB 3390 is a double-V (hexagonal) belt with profile BB and a length of 3390 mm. MR Industrial Accessories supplies this belt to maintenance, engineering and purchasing teams across the US, Canada, Mexico and South America.
The marking on a worn belt gives you the two details that matter for a correct match: the profile and the length. Here that is profile BB and 3390 mm. Note the part number HBB 3390 from the Optibelt DK series so you can compare it directly with what is on the drive now.
Double-V belts are used where both sides of the belt contact the pulleys, so a correct profile and length are essential. If the old belt is worn, glazed, cracked or stretched, replace it and inspect the pulleys and tension before installing the new belt. Send the part number and a photo of the marking if you want us to confirm the belt.
