The Optibelt C KB 3700 is a banded V-belt with a length of 3700 mm. It is part of the KB VB series. When you need to replace a belt, the marking on the back of the old belt gives you the part number to match.
To confirm this is the correct belt, read the marking on the back of the old belt. The part number C KB 3700 identifies the profile and length. If the marking is worn or unreadable, measure the length in millimeters and note the belt type. The Optibelt C KB 3700 is a banded V-belt, so it consists of multiple V-belts joined by a band.
Banded V-belts are used in drives where multiple belts run in parallel and must stay aligned. They help prevent belt whip and flipping. The C KB 3700 is 3700 mm long. When replacing a banded belt, inspect the sheaves for wear and check that all grooves are clean and free of debris. Proper tension is important for even load distribution across the band.
