Description
OPTIBELT BB 169 belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for BB 169 and any equivalents.
The Optibelt BB 169 is a double-V (hexagonal) belt in profile BB. When you are replacing a belt, the code on the belt itself is the fastest way to confirm you are looking at the same item. This page covers what to check before you order.
Start with the marking on the back of the belt you are removing. If it reads BB 169, you are matching the same Optibelt code. Confirm the profile is BB and that the belt is a double-V (hexagonal) type, since the same code can appear on belts built to a different construction.
The same size is also listed under Gates BB 169, so a drive that runs this size may carry either brand's belt. Compare the old belt against the replacement on the drive: profile, construction and the code marking should line up before you fit it.
If the marking is worn off or the belt has failed without a readable code, send us what you can read from the drive and the old belt. We carry Optibelt and can help confirm the right belt or suggest an equivalent.
