This Optibelt B KB 2700 is a banded V-belt from the KB VB series. It has a length of 2700 mm. The profile and length are the two details you need to match when replacing a banded belt on a multi-pulley drive.
Banded V-belts are built for drives where two or more V-belts run side by side and must stay in step. The B KB 2700 carries a 2700 mm length, so it fits drives that call for that exact length. The KB VB series identifies the construction, and the B KB 2700 part number is what you send when requesting a quote.
When you read the marking on an old belt, note the part number and the length. The B KB 2700 is the number to compare against. If the belt on the drive is worn or stretched, check the sheave grooves and alignment before fitting a new belt. On banded drives, replace the full set at the same time so the belts share the load evenly.
