The Optibelt B 148 KB is a banded V-belt from the KB / Red Power series, with a length of 3835 mm. Banded construction ties the ribs together so they run as a single unit on multi-groove drives.
Before fitting a replacement, inspect the drive. Check sheave grooves for wear, rust, or embedded debris, and confirm the sheaves are aligned and free of wobble. Worn grooves let a new banded belt sit too deep, which shortens its life and can cause the ribs to slip at different rates.
Verify the belt marking on the old part matches B 148 KB and that the measured length agrees with 3835 mm. Confirm the number of ribs in the band matches the sheave set. If the drive runs several belts, replace the full set so all ribs share the load evenly.
We carry the Optibelt B 148 KB for maintenance, engineering, and purchasing teams in the US, Canada, Mexico, and South America. Send the part number and the quantity you need by WhatsApp or email, and our team will confirm the belt or suggest an equivalent.
