Description
OPTIBELT AA 55 belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for AA 55 and any equivalents.
This Optibelt AA 55 belt is a double-V, or hexagonal, belt in the AA profile. Double-V belts are used where power must be transmitted from both sides of the belt, such as reversing drives and drives with opposing pulleys. Confirm fit by matching the part number and profile to your current belt.
The AA profile identifies the cross-section, and the part number AA 55 identifies the belt. The same size is also listed under Dayco AA 55 and Gates AA 55, so you can compare markings across brands. For a correct match, read the marking on the back of the belt you are replacing and compare it to the Optibelt AA 55.
Double-V belts are used on drives that require power from both sides, including reversing and serpentine-style drives with opposite pulley orientations. Inspect the pulleys for wear or misalignment before installing a new belt, and replace belts in sets where multiple belts run on the same drive.
