Description
OPTIBELT 8MHP 440 belongs to timing belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for 8MHP 440 and any equivalents.
The Optibelt 8MHP 440 is an Omega HP timing belt with an HTD 8M profile, a 440 mm length and an 8 mm pitch. Before you fit it, inspect the drive so the new belt is not damaged by worn components.
Check the sheaves for worn teeth, corrosion or debris in the grooves, and confirm they are aligned and secure. A sheave that is loose, misaligned or damaged will shorten the life of a new timing belt. Also check the tensioner and any idler for rough bearings or a worn surface.
Compare the old belt marking with the Optibelt 8MHP 440 before installation. The profile is HTD 8M, the length is 440 mm and the pitch is 8 mm. If the drive has more than one belt, replace the set together so the load stays even.
