Description
OPTIBELT 5V 1180 RP belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for 5V 1180 RP and any equivalents.
The Optibelt 5V 1180 RP is a narrow wedge V-belt from the Red Power 3 S=C Plus series, with a 5V profile and a length of 2997 mm. Before fitting this belt, inspect the drive and sheaves so the new belt starts on a sound system.
Check sheave grooves for wear, rust, or embedded debris, and confirm the grooves match the 5V profile. Misaligned or worn sheaves can shorten belt life and cause vibration. Verify that the sheave diameters and the 2997 mm belt length suit the drive layout.
Inspect the old belt for cracks, glazing, or missing ribs, and look for oil or heat sources near the drive. If the drive uses multiple belts, replace them as a set so the load stays even. Clean the grooves and check that all fasteners and take-up adjustments move freely.
When you request a quote, send the part number 5V 1180 RP and the belt marking. Our team carries Optibelt belts and can help confirm the right belt or suggest an equivalent. Contact us by WhatsApp or email with your part number.
